Four Graves County Residents Indicted On Methamphetamine
Conspiracy Charges
– Street value of $40,000

MAR 19 -- (Paducah, KY) - A federal grand jury in Paducah returned an indictment on March 11, 2008, against Jessie Ann Delk (a/k/a Jessie Lane), age 25, of 921 Clark Street, Mayfield, Chasity Shannon Lane, age 28, of 822 Maple Avenue, Mayfield, Robert John Thomas Tynes, age 23, of 297 Woodson Drive, Wingo, and Michael Kaler, age 33, of 110 West Willow Drive, Mayfield, all in Graves County, Kentucky on charges of conspiring to knowingly and intentionally possess with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine, U.S. Attorney David L. Huber of the Western District of Kentucky announced today.

The Indictment alleges between the Fall of 2006 and Spring of 2007, that Delk, Lane, Tynes and Kaler knowingly conspired with each other and other persons unknown to the Grand Jury to knowingly and intentionally possess with the intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. The Indictment also charges Thomas Tynes with five counts of possessing with intent to distribute methamphetamine, Michael Kaler with two counts of possessing with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and Chasity Lane with two counts of possessing with intent to distribute methamphetamine. The methamphetamine recovered by law enforcement has a street value of approximately $40,000.

In the event of a conviction, each defendant faces a mandatory minimum penalty of ten years imprisonment, a maximum potential penalty of life imprisonment, a $4,000,000 fine, and supervised release for at least five years and up to any number of years including life.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Michele Thielhorn, and it was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Kentucky State Police.
