News Release Two Iron Horsemen Bikers Sentenced To Five Years For Dealing Speed JUN 26 -- (Louisville, KY) - Eddie Gene Whitlow, of 5704 E. Mann Road, Pekin, Indiana, Ed Garner Wiggins, of 610 North Sixth Street, Mayfield, Kentucky, and Dwayne Keith Scott Hawk, of 807 Tiline Road, Smithland, Kentucky, were each sentenced today in United States District Court, Louisville, Kentucky, to 5 years imprisonment for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. The sentencing was announced today by U.S. Attorney David L. Huber of the Western District of Kentucky. Each of the defendants had previously pleaded guilty to conspiring with other persons, including other members of the Iron Horsemen Motorcycle Club, to distribute methamphetamine in the Western District of Kentucky. Each admitted he was personally responsible for the distribution of between 50 and 200 grams of methamphetamine, which has a street value of approximately $100 per gram. Wiggins and Whitlow were members of the Iron Horsemen Motorcycle Club. Hawk was not a member of the club, but admitted conspiring with Iron Horsemen members to distribute methamphetamine. Each of the defendants had been charged, along with several other persons, all of whom were either members of or closely associated with the Iron Horsemen, with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine in the Western District of Kentucky during the period from December 2003 to December 2005. Another defendant, David Lee Richerson, who was the National President of the Iron Horsemen during the period of the conspiracy, was previously sentenced in a related case to 1 year 9 months imprisonment for misprision of felony. Two other defendants, Derl Sebastian Hawk and Stanley Todd Phillips have entered pleas of guilty and are awaiting sentencing. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Larry Fentress, and was investigated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
