"Haji Abdul Satar Abdul Manaf was a double threat to the United States - he laundered money for terrorist organizations, like the Haqqani Network - which has kidnapped and held Americans, and he partnered with the Taliban to distribute heroin throughout the world. A DEA undercover agent met directly with Manaf and infiltrated his deadly and dangerous network, which led to his downfall. This is the most recent example of DEA's success against narcoterrorists that threaten our citizens and national security."
