Arizona Man Sentenced To 42 Months For Drug Trafficking
BOISE, IDAHO - - Cosme Jorge Flores, 44, of Tucson, Arizona, was sentenced on April 19, 2011, in Coeur d'Alene to 42 months in prison for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute marijuana. Additionally, Flores was ordered to serve three years of supervised release following his prison term, perform 80 hours of community service, and forfeit $25,000 or the equivalent, to the United States. He pleaded guilty to the charge in September 2010.
According to court documents, Flores admitted that he supplied marijuana to Ted Bruck, which was distributed in Idaho, Montana, and Wisconsin. Bruck was sentenced in a separate case to 80 months in federal prison in March 2009.
Co-defendants Jesus Noriega Ortega and Bonnie Duarte have entered guilty pleas on related charges and are awaiting sentencing. Otto Cantrell pleaded guilty and was sentenced in January.
The case was investigated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement (DEA) and the Idaho State Police.
