Troy Man Sentenced For Distributing Crack Cocaine
ALBANY, N.Y. - Anthony Redd, age 32, of Troy, New York, was sentenced today to 24 months of imprisonment for distributing crack cocaine, announced by Special Agent in Charge James J. Hunt, New York Division, Drug Enforcement (DEA) and United States Attorney Richard S. Hartunian.
United States District Judge Mae A. D’Agostino also sentenced Redd to serve three years of supervised release after his release from prison.
As part of his February 2015 guilty plea, Redd admitted that on March 10, 2014, in Troy, he agreed to sell an individual 30 grams of crack cocaine, and actually sold to that individual 26.1 grams of crack cocaine, in exchange for $1,800.
This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Wayne A. Myers.
