Springdale Man Sentenced To Over 14 Years In Federal Prison For Drug Trafficking

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Jesus Valenzuela, aka Jesus Valenzuela-Cruz, 42, of Springdale, Ark. was sentenced today to 174 months in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release on one count of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. He was also ordered to pay a $4,000 fine.
Drug Enforcement (DEA) Assistant Special Agent in Charge Matthew Barden and Kenneth Elser, Acting United States Attorney for the Western District of Arkansas, announced the sentence.
According to court records, in July 2015, the DEA and the 4th Judicial Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on a storage unit used by Valenzuela, seizing approximately 255 grams of methamphetamine.
