Texas Men Sentenced To Combined Total Of 200 Months In Federal Prison For Drug Trafficking
FORT SMITH, Ark. - Drug Enforcement (DEA) Assistant Special Agent in Charge Matthew Barden and Kenneth Elser, Acting United States Attorney for the Western District of Arkansas, announced that Adan Sanchez, 45, of Rosenberg, Texas, and Omar Sanchez-Vasquez, 49, of Guy, Texas, were sentenced today on one count each of Distribution of more than 50 Grams of a Mixture or Substance Containing Methamphetamine. Sanchez and Sanchez-Vasquez were sentenced to 100 months each in federal prison followed by four years of supervised release.
Sanchez and Sanchez-Vasquez were both indicted by a federal grand jury on September 16, 2015 and both pleaded guilty to the charges in November, 2015. This case was investigated by the DEA.
