Man sentenced to serve 60 months resulting from DEA undercover operation
BUFFALO, N.Y. – Acting Special Agent in Charge Keith Kruskall, New York Division, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, and U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr. announced today that Levon Dickson, 44, of Buffalo, NY, who was convicted of possession with intent to distribute, and distribution of, cocaine, was sentenced to serve 60 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Brendan T. Cullinane, who handled the case, stated that between June and August of 2017, the defendant distributed more than 500 grams of cocaine in the Western District of New York. Specifically, on three occasions, Dickson sold cocaine to an undercover law enforcement officer. On Aug. 3, 2017, a search warrant was executed at the defendant’s residence and officers recovered cocaine and items used to distribute cocaine.
Today’s sentencing is the result of an investigation by the DEA, Buffalo Resident Office.
