TAMPA, Fla. - Mark R. Trouville, Special Agent in (SAC), Drug Enforcement (DEA), Miami Field Division, and W. Brad Steube, Sheriff, Manatee County Sheriff’s (MCSO), announce today the arrest of two former Manatee Sheriff’s deputies, Tom Frank, 45, and Christopher Tucker, 39.  Both Frank and Tucker were charged with Possession of Anabolic Steroids in violation of Florida State Statue 893.13(6)a.

Frank has been with the MCSO since 1995 and was a sergeant in the Patrol Division. Tucker began his career with MCSO in 1997 and was a deputy in the Child Protective Investigation Division.  They both recently resigned from the Sheriff’s Office.

This is an ongoing investigation in conjunction with the DEA, MCSO and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
