Hot Springs Woman Sentenced To Over 7 Years In Federal Prison For Drug Trafficking
HOT SPRINGS, Ark. - Drug Enforcement (DEA) Assistant Special Agent in Charge Matthew Barden and Kenneth Elser, Acting United States Attorney for the Western District of Arkansas, announced that Susan Marie Sheets, age 42, of Hot Springs, was sentenced this week to 87 months in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release on one count of Distribution of Methamphetamine.
According to court records, on or about October 16, 2013, law enforcement conducted a controlled purchase of $2,400 worth of methamphetamine from Sheets that occurred at her residence in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
This case was investigated by the DEA and the 18th Judicial District East Drug Task Force.
