Sanford Man Sentenced To Eight Months For Distribution Of Oxycodone

PORTLAND, Maine - Michael J. Ferguson Special Agent in Charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration for New England and United States Attorney Thomas E. Delahanty II announced that James Levesque, 55, of Sanford, Maine, was sentenced today in U.S. District Court by Chief Judge Nancy Torresen to 8 months in prison and three years of supervised release for distribution of oxycodone. Levesque pleaded guilty to the charge on September 28, 2015.
Court records reveal that on March 7, 2014, in Sanford, Levesque sold forty 80-milligram oxycodone pills, through a middleman, to a cooperating source working with law enforcement.
This case was investigated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the York County Sheriff’s Office.
