Bangor Resident Pleads Guilty To Maintaining A Drug Involved Premises

BANGOR, Maine - Michael J. Ferguson Special Agent in Charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration for New England and United States Attorney Thomas E. Delahanty II announced that Daniel Lyons, 42, of Bangor pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to maintaining a drug involved premises.
According to court records, in 2014, the defendant maintained a residence on Essex Street in Bangor where he allowed dealers to store and sell heroin to customers on a daily basis and for which he was compensated in heroin. The defendant faces up to 20 years in prison, a $500,000 fine and three years of supervised release.
The case was investigated by the U.S Drug Enforcement Administration and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.
