Niagara Falls man going to prison for five years on drug and gun charges
BUFFALO, N.Y. – Special Agent in Charge Ray Donovan of the United States Drug Enforcement Administration's New York Division and U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr. announced yesterday that Milton Williams, Jr., 35, of Niagara Falls, N.Y., who was convicted of possession with intent to distribute cocaine,and possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking activity, was sentenced to serve five years in prison by U.S. District Judge Elizabeth A. Wolford.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Laura A. Higgins, who is handling the case, stated that on Dec. 12, 2017, law enforcement officers executed a New York State search warrant at the defendant’s residence at 1364 Pierce Avenue in Niagara Falls. Officers recovered three loaded firearms and additional assorted rounds of ammunition. In addition, officers recovered marijuana and a large quantity of cocaine.
The sentencing is the result of an investigation by the Niagara Falls Police Department and the DEA.
